The best part that van doesn’t have all the computers, and it can be worked on by anyone.

You got a steal!! Besides, I happen to like all the "old school" details -- like the simple dash and the vent windows. Frankly, I wish auto makers would bring back vent windows as they really do function well without having to open the big windows and get blown out of your seat. Anyway, glad you have it and you don't need to make major changes. Hey, I'm 68 years old -- vintage is a good thing! 😃💗

In 1977, I bought a Dodge van that had a 318 engine in it, and that engine was great. I drove that van for over thirty years, and that engine and transmission ran perfectly all those years!! You should do very well with that van, what a great find!!! Good luck, dear!!

For just $1500, you got a great deal! It sure beats spending $100 to 200K for a modern camper van that has less space and more electronics that will fail.

I had a 1974 Dodge van with a 318. Best engine ever! Passed everything but a gas station! We built a bed in the back and went camping and fishing. The good ole days! You got a great deal no explanation necessary! I enjoy your videos!

I sold a 1988 almost identical model last year with no roof a/c for $7500.00. Awesome van and the 318 is good on gas for a v8. Couldn't go wrong!

What you have is a Classic camper van. At 24 years of age , it is an old automobile. At 25 years of age it is a classic automobile. Yes , you got one hell of a deal on that classic van. Seriously , A VERY GOOD DEAL.

Oh my gosh! What a blessing. Living in my sedan with my cat for a year I would love a van like that. By the way your cat is ADORABLE 😍😻 I love black cats because they are so talkative.

I like your camper van and I couldn't have said no either. Thanks for the video Jenna!

They don't build things like they used to. Like myself; you can't beat a classic. 🙌🏻💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻

that van will outlast any new van made........... great score... vans make camping much more fun

that price was a gift, good rig that will last as long as you maintain it. I love old school.

A van that old is either a 'wrecking yard queen' or a vintage prize. Being a 1954 version of "old," I'm vintage... not antique. 🤣 Your van is a beauty and the 318 engine is a workhorse that was nicknamed "wildcat." It's very reliable and should serve you well.

You got a great deal even if you need to do work to make it your style. So happy that you are keeping it on the road since its a classic. The man that owned it would be happy to know a pretty lady is now its new owner. Just keep working on it and before you know it all will be done. Be safe.

* cries in 1989 at being called antique *

What a great deal. I love older vans. At one time (decades ago) I had a 1969 Van. I think it was a Ford. I loved it!

No way I would walk away from that deal. For $1500 in that shape, I wouldn't even had a thought about not buying that. Sweet ride. Those 318's are awesome engines. Have a great weekend, Cheers. :)
