The Lost Crown — Episode 1 of Legends of the Forests, an original 3D animated epic fantasy series built frame by frame by one person.
After a defeat on the battlefield against the Eagle King Altus, the Vulture King Rotguts seizes power and constructs a massive dam, enslaving the builders to control the river and the lands below it. When the rivers of Melador run dry and a desperate plea for help arrives, a group of young friends forms an expedition to cross the mountains and answer the call.
Legends of the Forests is a character-driven 3D animated fantasy series in the spirit of Brave, Onward and The Good Dinosaur. Nearly a hundred characters, each with their own voice, face and reason. Power, betrayal, loyalty, love — and the price of every oath. This isn't a beautiful picture with nothing behind it; it's a story with drive.
The chronicles are kept by Archius, ancient scholar of the Forests.
