i wear my 4c natural hair out every day and it literally takes 10 minutes to do. wash days takes maybe 30 minutes. waaaaaay less work and money than installing box braids or a buss down lol. i hope black women start to embrace and love their own hair because we truly look better with it and it’s really not time consuming

I wear my hair in a natural teeny Afro and it's so much easier and more comfortable than when I had the relaxers wigs and weaves. Plus it's way cheaper than getting it done in a salon.

If he requested the change and backed it up with his research, like a good respectful partner should and not blatantly demand it, women might take the request into consideration.

I have been wearing my natural hair for 15+ years, I am locd now. If black men want to comment on this, that is great. Maybe try giving positive affirmation, encouragement. Instead of being combative, try being nice/supportive of black women. Alot of black men don't like natural hair. Is it so hard to believe that black men have ALSO been conditioned to hate our looks? You're gaslighting if you think this is only black women mindset.

The braids are the most cheap way to maintain your hair.

We like changing our hairstyles to fit our mood. It’s not rocket science.
