How about listening to nurses that raise concerns about inadequate incompetent consultants?

Just why do some  reporters keep interrupting.

She is not even listening properly - just readying the next attack line

Such a dreadful way to interview someone interrupting them before they get to finish their sentence. Derbyshire is so rude and arrogant.

Well done Mark McDonald you held yourself well, and win this partisan debate. X

Yeah Victoria was asking and immediately answering her own questions and not giving him a chance to answer before he pointed it out and she let him speak.

Very admirable, please keep going Mark.

How can you even argue with him? He is stating facts with experts from all around the world.

This so called journalist is an angry fool

The interviewer was trying to look competemt by constant interruptions.
How sad that those parents are not standing up for the staff trying to help their babies.
Experts say there were no murders.  Nobody should be inprison for murders that did not happen.

Letby was tried by a judge who withheld relevant evidence from the jury, meaning whether innocent or guilty she did not get a fair trial

The top leading medical experts in the world have thoroughly examined the case and say Lucy is innocent. She is a scapegoat, nothing more

From the moment Shoo Lee and his panel of 14 top neonatal experts and scientists concluded there were no murders in the neonatal unit the show was over for the prosecution and the official narrative.  Hundreds of scientists and experts worldwide have come to the same conclusions.

It is a mystery why a long retired paediatrician was allowed to overturn post mortems and Coroner's reports.
Supreme Court Judge, Peter Jackson, warned Judge Goss that the evidence of Dewi Evans was likely to be worthless but instead of throwing the paediatrician out of the trial he allowed him to continue.

Brilliant interview Mark, you are to be applauded for all your good work. As for Thirlwall, it seems we’ve had a  £20 million inquiry premised on a murderer being present which amazingly concludes that if the murderer had been stoped earlier there would have been fewer deaths.  I think my 4 year old granddaughter could have worked that one out. IMO the obvious conclusion from an open un-blinkered inquiry would have been that by focusing on an innocent nurse who was present for less than half of the excess deaths, the Hospital completely missed it’s own serious systemic problems.   Given the inept police investigation, biased trial, blinkered Thirlwall inquiry, ongoing CCRC review and suspended coroner inquests, the British justice system has got itself into such an unholy mess it is increasingly becoming the subject of ridicule.

Oh dear!
Smacks of Lindy Chamberlain to me, she was convicted by tainted evidence too & the media.
Media has a lot to answer for

And so the system closes ranks to protect itself. All that guff we were told about the system having 'got rid of a lot of dead wood' was exactly that - guff.
Welcome back to 70's Britain folks. Corrupt as f.

If  Victoria Derbyshire was intelligent she could be dangerous.

The MSM simply cannot accept the idea that jury trials can get the result wrong. It’s the gospel truth until decades later it isn’t.

Mark, well said! The inquiry does indeed adopt the premise Lucy was guilty and therefore seeks to defend the justice system. The inquiry is likely  a complete waste of tax payers money! Having said that, it may well be a good idea to install cameras. The fundamental issue that BBC Politics fail to appreciate is that rules of law are being circumvented to win cases and lawyers are relying on wholly unreliable reports to win them. Yes, it is all about making money and this is why the NHS has arguably become unfit for practice and therefore mistakes and or negligence happen. The true reality is that many in the legal profession are only interested in making money and the boundaries of what is legal and not legal in court over the decades has been abused to the point many courts are practising in a fantasy world. The justice system and legal profession ultimately is to blame but the problem is that this institution is too arrogant to accept that it is in the wrong. This serious malpractice likely started in the family courts because this court has been fabricating cases, left right and centre to illegally remove babies for adoption. The professional bodies regulating these experts know the reports are not true but they too fail to properly investigate these experts and this is why miscarriages of justice will continue to occur because winning cases makes money!! BBC Politics do the right thing and investigate what has been going on in the family courts - everybody from judges, to social workers, to lawyers to experts are abusing their positions to make money etc!!! The press and Panorama has reported this has been the likely case for the last 20 years or so and it is because everything is kept secret that they get away with it!! This is the reality and the reason why Letby too was framed.
