I learned Rhod got cancer in the same sentence that I learned he beat cancer.

James looks to be fading away. Like literally getting lighter and lighter colored before he goes transparent.

we should have "cheer up this former taskmaster contestant" task in the future

Love how much James acknowledged/praised all the amazing stuff the crew puts in in post for creative effects. They always do such a stellar job, truly.

I just find it very funny when people have a wife

Its the fact that he picked Jess’ fall over his amazing moments like “pants on a stick”, “my eyes are circles”, “oh the perfect stuff “, “over the shoulder”… He just loves the show and was here to relive things he enjoyed and not just pick the ones where he was great/bad.

I would bet my life Ed Gamble is within 8 yards of this interview

My thoughts watching Taskmaster: "I love James's outfits, they're so cool!"
James: "I just bought stuff I would never wear that I thought would look funny"
Says a lot about my sense of style huh

I just fully assumed that was James' genuine wardrobe (seems like the kind of guy to wear bold colours)

"Put exactly 50 different things in this bin" and the resulting portrait is still my favorite work of art in all of taskmaster. It's genuinely impressive

I think this was the best Ultimate Episode so far. James did a really good job, not only giving us his insight but also letting us know about what goes on behind the scenes.

James' comments about Rhod were very sincere. They make James very endearing. Series 7 was a great one.

12:02 - Ok, that's really on whomever decided to store a bottle of champaign in the Taskmaster house while people were running around doing tasks.

James was one of the reasons I discovered TaskMaster at all. Being in the US, I don't get to see it on TV, so I'm glad it's on YT to enjoy.

I think the whole mc hammer jokes concept went right over Greg’s shoulder.. look there’s a boulder.

James Acaster one of my top 5 contestants. Hes so funny

Taskmaster sure, but absolutely the guy who had the best moment on stand up to cancer for Bake Off of all time - “Started making it, had a breakdown, bon appétit.”

It's funny that James thinks the outfits were a flop, because I've always associated his comedy with his outfit choices - in my mind they go hand in hand.

Proposition: A Champion of Losers series, where the lowest scoring contestants from 5 seasons come together to try to redeem themselves. The prize is a golden statue of Greg's big toe.
