Believe it or not, but I've never actually attempted a Pokémon nuzlocke before... so what could possibly go wrong?

I love how Jaiden's nuzlocke runs had the most heartbreaking deaths, and Jacob just rolls up like "whatup, these are my pets, wanna see me throw them in this woodchipper?"

This might legitimately be one of the best scripts you've ever written. There are so many perfect turns of phrase, and on rewatch I can really appreciate how good the callbacks/foreshadowing are. Also the art is the perfect compliment. Overall, this is just extremely good shit.

Jaiden does a nuzlocke: A few deaths along the way with a few in key moments of worthy sacrifice.

Alpharad does a nuzlocke: July 1st 1916, First day of the Battle of the Somme, Colorized

The fact that Alpha essentially went into the Elite Four with four Pokémon, a grenade and a pile of rocks and still made it astounds me.

"For all the stupid f**** decisions I've made"
The main ones being trusting Braden, thinking Braden had good ideas, and assuming Brayden was just there to help his friend and not make blood sacrifices to Satan.

Given how passionate Alpha was about his legendary World Of Light nuzlocke, the fact that he never actually did a Pokemon nuzlocke up until this point is really surprising.

When you watch a bit too much Nuzlocke, that whole 11:05 Alakazam battle becomes both the saddest and stupidest battle in Nuzlocke's history

all of my closest friends were killed because of the advice from someone with a deku toad profile picture

There are set in stone rules to a fire red nuzlocke on YouTube:
1. There will always be a death
2. One of them will be a mankey.

Braiden: yeah let's throw one of the weakest specially defensive mons in the game against a stab ice punch which happens to be super effective against it
