The Art becomes the mirror. Brilliant.

this guy is incredible.

i legit have a mirror in almost every room in my place

“ we are wired to seek our own reflection” ❤

This conversation is super trippy. I think you stumbled upon something.

Love the mirror reflection which never lies. We don’t have to go far to see ourselves. It’s right there in our homes and is truly economical.Surrounding one’s self with like minded people is truly beneficial. “Iron sharpens iron “. Keep empowering. ❤

I am EVEN MORE EXCITED to start working on the next painting in a collection I’m creating. Your words are golden and insightful. Thank you for clarifying what I am truly seeking while
I paint. Also, thank you for affirming the power of the inner image and the inner voice. THANK YOU!!

We all learn to see the world and ourselves through the eyes of others. Creative work gives the artist new ways of seeing themselves.  Thank you for your beautiful analysis!

For a long time I felt like the artist’s intention was irrelevant. I believed that once a piece of art was put out into the world it belonged to whoever absorbed it and it meant whatever that person decided it meant.

Lately I’ve wondered if what I’m really trying to express is a fear or putting creations into the world without context.
It feels dangerous to hand people something that might move them without context because it’s also free to be distorted into something you never intended.

I think this video is helping me wrestle with this. It doesn’t solve all of the problems I have with art in the modern world, but it makes me feel like maybe I can let go of the fear of being distorted as long as I’m remaining completely honest in creation.

I can’t ignore the responsibility I have as a creator, but I can feel peace knowing that I did everything I could to express myself as honestly as possible during creation.

Idk. Maybe somebody else here has thoughts on this.

You're really good at this, thanks for sharing your insights 🙏

Great!!! I loved your text and your speech here. You are 100% correct. Thank you

Brother in Creativity! As I sit here sketching in my book while listening to you… my inner voice keeps shouting “MIRROR NEURONS” !! We have actually neurons that respond immediately to others experiencing things! Like if you see a video of a guys getting kicked in the balls, us guys all know that feeling and cringe and recoil as if it is happening to us. Those are our mirror neurons reflecting another’s experience back to us and on to them and back again! I think you could do an addendum to this with the mirror neuron analogy fleshed out for artists and how to really capitalize on the actual science of what you have tapped into here. Also, a quote that I came up with years ago working on my website was “your mind is my canvas”… it really hits differently after this break down and I haven’t fully explored why yet…🤔

Love it. Great content, as always!
Thanks for posting and sharing!

Just discovered you this morning. Really great to hear,  l resonate strongly with what you are saying. Thank you

Thanks for your insight, its my dream someday one of my videogames or animated shows im working on becomes famous

i will expand more on my perspective on the Lab at World of Creatives 😁

Mortals like myself can't move in two opposite directions at once. I know this, but why can't I give up?

Thank you so much. Love the way you explain things. Greetings from India.

Fridah Kahlo is one of my favorite artists. I’m actually working on a homage piece using her Broken Column painting.
