I remember this period of time had a whole slew of 007 games

This was THE James Bond game for me as a kid. To this day, it's still my mental image of a 007 game. Awesome to see you covering this game!

Fuck yeah it is

Put a lot of time into the multiplayer as a kid, zipping around levels with the grappling hook like Spiderman.

It's funny how a video game can change your life. When I was a little boy this was my curtain-raising experience with the world of James Bond. My friend Joey G. had the Gamecube version of this game and after playing at his house I begged my mom to let me have my copy of the PS2 version. My mom made a deal with me "Joe if you get an A on your next test (can't remember if it was a spelling test or a history test) in school and the game is yours. Needless to say, I got the highest grade I ever got up until that point. To my little 8-9-year-old mind, Agent Under Fire was the greatest video game ever put to CD. I spent hours playing through this game over and over: Unlocking the Golden Gun, racing through the streets of Bucharest in my Aston Martin DB5, and using fancy gadgets to escape deadly situations. I was Bond, James Bond, the world's greatest secret agent. One day, my maternal grandpa visited me while I happened to be playing the game. I couldn't wait to show him. "Look at this Poppi!" I exclaimed! "In this game, you're this awesome super-spy named James Bond. There's a Golden Gun, and these fancy cars and all these awesome gadgets!"

Much to my surprise, the concept wasn't foreign to him, "Oh, you mean like the movies?" he answered back. Did my ears deceive me? MOVIES! James Bond was a movie? That was THE moment, a moment that forever changed the trajectory of my life. Shortly after that, I was in my grandparents' basement watching You Only Live Twice on VHS, unaware of what year the movie was released and confused as to why James Bond didn't look like Pierce Brosnan on all the James Bond posters that Blockbuster video had around that time.

If it wasn't for Agent Under Fire, I would not be the James Bond fan that I am today. All the hours spent on Wikipedia reading trivial facts, every Bond movie I have seen and will ever see, every original Ian Fleming novel I have read, and every actor I have ever met from the series, all stem from my early childhood fascination with this sixth-generation video game!

After having played goldeneye, Tomorrow Never dies, and The World is Not Enough on the previous generations of consoles, a friend of mine got GameCube in 2002. When we played trouble in Paradise we were so blown away by the graphics.

Saw the thumbnail and who made the video and had to immediately watch.

Agent Under Fire was my second favorite but I loved the multiplayer mode for it. Nightfire on Gamecube as a kid, I spent hours with my brother and friends just playing split screen. Everything or Nothing, I didn't spend much time on, except co-op with my dad. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent was awesome with multiplayer as well. From Russia with Love would have been better with more weapons but it was a good game.

I spent more time in split screen (years ago) or playing custom matches with bots (now). I'm probably one of the only few to not play and beat the story.

I replayed this using code breaker. Some hero added halo controls as a cheat. I have so much nostalgia for this game

Yes! Please make this a trilogy of all the games, every one is so good on the ps2

I had this game back on the GameCube, brings back some memories. Very entertaining video, very well done.

If only these games had blood.

007 was briefed in Goldeneye. I loved this game.

You gotta play From Russia With Love! That was my favorite Bond game on the PS2!

I remember four players split screen on night fire playing as odd. Job just had the hat as an extra weapon. I miss those days.

Me and my friends spent a ton of time playing splitscreen in this game. It was super fun.

The best Twisted Metal creator out there once again is back in my recommended.

was crazy that stuff with trying to both move and look around with 1 stick

I always destroyed the choppers sniping the pilot. It works

His walking sound sounds like stewie griffin walking.
