Medewege Farm, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. 400 hectares, 15 farms and initiatives, 170 jobs. The organic farm has existed for 30 years – and it's profitable. That's the exception.

Jule, Helena, and Olav took over the farm from their parents. The cows still have horns, it's Demeter certified, has a Waldorf kindergarten – and herd management via app. At Medewege, biodynamic tradition meets the digital age. Not as a contradiction, but as a guiding principle. But growth also means making decisions. Which traditions support it, which hold it back? What stays, what has to go?

"The North Report" follows three young people who renegotiate every day what sustainable farming means today – and in doing so, keep one of the most successful organic farms in Northern Germany running.
