When we decided to build our dream house ourselves, many of our neighbours laughed at us.
They didn’t believe it was possible to start building a house from scratch without a big construction company, huge budget, or years of experience. But step by step, foundation by foundation, we proved them wrong.
In this video, you’ll see the real self-build house journey — from the early construction stages to the finished dream home. This is a true DIY house build, showing the challenges, mistakes, hard work, and the final result that finally shut everyone up.
If you’re interested in home construction, self-build projects, or dreaming about building your own house, this video will inspire you. We show what it’s really like to build a house yourself, how neighbours reacted, and how persistence turns doubt into respect.
