Days Gone 100% Platinum Was NIGHTMARE Fuel

Today I’m trying to get the Platinum Trophy for Days Gone Remastered in the hardest way possible by going for all 67 trophies in the game beyond just the 46 that are required for platinum. Which means I’ll have to beat the story twice on the hardest difficulties survivor and survivor II, earn all the gold medals in every challenge in challenge mode, achieve max level in the all new horde mode - horde assault, and finally beat the game a third time for the trophy I’m dreading the most....

The fact this game never got a sequel greenlit is a crime

Every time I watch someone go for this platinum on YouTube, they keep making the same incorrect assumption. The trophy that requires you to kill one of the 3 bigger enemies with a knife doesn’t mean take out his entire HP bar with the knife. You simply need to land the final hit with it. That’s what I did and the trophy unlocked.

Best way to complete this really is to do the challenges first. All the patch buffs transfer to all game modes

Fun fact: Days Gone was the first game I got alongside my PS5, and I wasn't sure what to think of it when I first played it, but getting an experience that would allow me to feel relaxed, excited, have so much laughter (mainly from the challenges glitching out when there were too many zombies on screen😂), and something so emotional, I loved the game start to finish. Here's hoping Sony is interested in making a sequel one day

That damn burnout trophy still eludes me lol. I love this game, the feeling of dread you get when you get trapped or cornered by a horde is unreal. Followed by a feeling of immense relief if you escape. Great job, I'm still plodding my way through the trophies. Also, be honest, when Boozer and Sarah see each other again, you shed a tear, don't lie lol.

Loved the video, I’d highly recommend getting the platinum for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! For me it was the best game I’ve played in a long time and didn’t even feel like a grind. If you’re a masochist like me, also highly recommend trying it on expert.

Great video. I was considering getting remastered myself but I already got all the trophies on PS4 and I’d be tempted to get them all again, and the challenge mode, well, let’s just say I’m not keen to go through all that again. It was sort of hell, really. It was fine just to do it all once in my book
