Why Days Gone is one of the Best "Zombie" Games of All Time....

Gaming after 50

When Days Gone launched in 2019, it received mixed reviews and was quickly dismissed by many as just another open-world zombie game. But over the years, something unexpected happened. Players kept discovering it, finishing it, and asking the same question: Why wasn't this game appreciated from the beginning?

This game was the best thing on a snowy, cold weekend. You get transported to that world. Get nostalgia watching your vid

I’ve played many single player games but can never get deeply invested in them. This game hit me different and is now my favorite single player game of all time next to Elden ring

I'm someone that almost hates zombie games, but I LOVED this game. One of the scariest games I've played. Especially that mission in the cave and there's a swarm that tries to attack you.

Man I bought this day one, tooke 3 weeks to finish it and I loved every minute of it. Was kinda sad when I finished it, because it's the best zombie game I ever played.

The only bad part of this video is that it had to end. I could have watched an hour long video on DAYS GONE

I’ve played it several times and it absolutely is one of the best zombie games I’ve ever played. I hope they can take this formula and make another one.

I liked this game so much. I played it twice and PS 4. And Twice on PS 5. Not to mention plying horde mode. Horde mode is best round based zombie game. There’s a lot of us after 50 gamers. I know some in their mid 70’s. It’s a lot better than watching TV. Great Video.

The best review I have listened too since starting to play DG. I am 65 y old and retired. Love the exhilaration and storyline. Many thanks for an excellent review !!

I hated Days Gone when I bought it at launch. I didn't like the horde aspect of the game and I quit playing after an hour or so. I came back to I a couple times and eventually I started to enjoy it and now it's one of my favorite games. I bought the remaster and a giant poster.

As someone who lives close to Bend Oregon I had a special attachment to this game. I loved the zombie hoards, the region, the progression. The game was a ton of fun! Its really sad there will most likely never be a sequel.

I said this on 1st release. Some had issues with stability but my PS4 Pro had an SSD, and it all ran fine. Amazing game.
