It was built in 1958 and is now run by Arie and his son Thomas De Jong. This is the most amazing facility you would ever see.
We took a Look at the Coral System and all the thousands of fish they are breeding.

As a dutch guy understanding everything, its a bit of a shame his english is this bad. With better english the explanation would be better and more detailed I feel like. These guys are very passionate and know what they are doing. Everything I have that could come from them, comes from them. Indirectly of course but the seller don't hide that the stuff or animals comes from De Jong because if people know De Jong they know that they are good. Also you de jong is pretty easy to pronounce in english, its basically the same as The Young. Same litteral meaning even.

Equipment used by professionals doesn't come down to what's best for corals or animals. Most are good enough anyway. For a business, is comes down to upfront cost, maintenance cost and replacement cost against performance. And often the best of the best is too expensive to run on a business level. What they say about the Philips: They are VERY low in maintenance with very high reliability, which cuts down cost immensely in maintenance and replacement. So what's best for a business, doesn't always mean what's best for a consumer. Beware of that pitfall.
