Im only at about 15% of my head is gray, very sparce silvers and Im gonna start my grow out NOW instead of waiting until its like 50% and have to deal with that dreaded D-Line. I feel starting sooner than later will help transition from sublt almost a natural highlight and progress color free from there.

Master Cosmologist of 40 years here. I feel your pain. Try ION Pigments in Titanium! No lift just sheer color Deposit that will help the transition and fade out with shampooing. No line of Demarcation!
Or just do the Chop where your color end… you have great hair and such pretty skin & features. Try either of these suggestions… you won’t regret it. Promise! 👍⭐️👑😊

I used fanola purple shampoo, just put it all over on dry hair, left it for ages lol then washed it out. Toned the dark brown fading dye part and slightly darkened the root so worked pretty well. I’ve grown all the dye out now and just use purple shampoo now and again, my hair is a steel grey.

I am glad my greys came in weird and patchy lol. I went from black box dye to growing out my greys and thanks to the weird pattern I got the demarcation line of the grey and black wasn't noticeable. I still might try this overtone thing because we have very hard water here and my greys sometimes look really dinge-y. I think it turned out fantastic on you!
