What GoT costume is your favorite?

The boys are talkin✨ F A S H I O N ✨ darling 💅💁‍♀️✋

another cool detail during rhaenyra and alicent’s talk in the season 2 finale is that they both wear symbols honouring their deceased mothers, rheanyra wears a silvery pale blue which is the main color of house arryn which her mother was from before marrying viserys but the ruffles on her sleeves and chest look like bird feathers, house arryns sigil. alicent’s mother was from house florent before her marriage and their sigil is a red fox with a wreath of flowers on a blue background, now alicent wears a blue gown with a cloak to show that slyness that foxes are associated with but her cloak also has multiple flower motifs as well as alicent’s red hair making her look like the fox on the florent banner. i just like that in a way they shy away from their fathers who have ultimately set up this war and retreat to their younger selfs by aligning themselves with their maternal sides whilst striving for a peace pact to end the bloodshed which has already cost each side a son.

Awesome video. One of my favourite things about the thrones series is the incredible attention to detail by the prop, set and costume designers

Harriet what a brilliant young woman you are, amazing script !

Thanks for this. I really enjoyed it.

Gorgeous work on the costumes 🎉 Thank you 🎉

2:52 not a lot of metal in the northern costumes because the cold temperatures would conduct freezing temperatures through the armour and yet NOBODY WEARS A FRIGGIN HAT!
Everyone's ears would be lost to frostbite fr

I'm going to use this moment to reiterate how much I despise Alicent Hightower, and Criston Cole. I just want to get that off my chest. On a more relevant note, no matter what you think about the show, the costume department is always knocking it out of the park.

This was awesome. More like this please!

It's more than just costumes! I rewatched GoT because I didn't realize until the first episode of HotD that a WHOLE story is being told through the props, lighting, costumes and use of language.
Example-go back and freeze the frame when Cat is working on Bran's 'dreamcatcher' nightmare fuel. It's made with bird skulls, bones and meat looking sick stuff. It's scary crazy. In another Bran scene, there's garlic bulbs hanging in bedroom window and fireplace, etc. Garlic at a window? That's not normal-usually used to keep Vampires out.
The jewelery is also part of the Story. A really HUGE part.
*almost forgot Dorne-they look like snakes. Look at the costumes...this is also true for HotD and Criston Cole having a snake-belly pattern on his gear. *

I drafted a copy of Cerci’s leather dress from the last two seasons for a final in fashion school. Got an A❤🎉 loved the princess lines terminating at the neck!

Emma’s costumes for S2 are my favorite silhouette

Seeing the behind the scenes and how long it takes to make the outfits-AMAZING. People are so incredibly talented!!

Very cool video. I hope we get more like this that go around different movie making departments, but not only for GOT, also other shows and movies.

Such amazing attention to detail wow

Great appreciation video.

Love the costumes from GOT's first seasons, specially Dany's

Fave costume you ask? Dragon saddles, slay queen. 😂

I very much enjoyed this, does anyone know of other channels that focus on this topic?

For real tho I’ve never watched GOT but sat for this vid 🤷‍♀️
