Discover how Game of Thrones changed television history and the lives of its incredible cast forever! In this video, we explore the real-life impact of playing Westeros's most iconic characters, from Jack Gleeson's chilling and perfect portrayal of the evil Joffrey Baratheon that led him to take a break from acting, to Peter Dinklage's award-winning run as the fan-favorite Tyrion Lannister that earned him four Emmy awards and a Golden Globe. We dive into Lena Headey's brilliant performance as Cersei Lannister and how she handled the real-world hate with style, Emilia Clarke's effortless balance of kindness and cruelty as Daenerys Targaryen, and Kit Harington's shocking on-screen journey as the unstoppable Jon Snow. Plus, we look at Charles Dance bringing the mastermind Tywin Lannister to life, and how growing up on set completely transformed Sophie Turner's Sansa Stark and Maisie Williams's Arya Stark, who wrapped up the final season with a bang no one expected.

Jack Gleason was by far the best bad guy on tv. Everyone hated him. What an acting job!!

If everyone hates the character you play, it definitely means that you played a masterful role.

The way Jack played Joffrey with such accuracy, portraying joffrey’s immaturity, dangerous impulsiveness, narcissistic personality, and his mannerisms was incredible! I don’t know how he was capable of pulling such an arrogant, egotistical, angry, and mentally unstable character out of himself because I couldn’t imagine even the most seasoned actors to portray a better Joffrey. Honestly even Lena who played Cersei and the Peter who played Tyrion were incredible… this show picked the BEST actors/actresses to play their characters… 💯 satisfied

He did SUCH an amazing job. I actually hope he comes back to acting now that he’s older and has aged and looks a little different. He is one of those actors that is so good that I would watch the movie just because he is in it.

Nobody has looked less like their character than Emilia Clarke, totally unrecognisable without the wig and the more deadpan face. She is so much more facially animated and smiley than the character, even in the audition.

Joffrey was a horrid, hellish brat, but how well Jack played the part, made me love this handsome young man! His death scene was intense, and I literally cried. Plus he’s Irish, so hey. 🧡💚 WOW!! Everyone shown in this recap was EXEMPLARY!! This entire video was fabulous, so well done!! Thank you!!
