Come spend a HUGE bake day with me as I prep for an upcoming festival! I’m baking sourdough bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and more — all using 100% organic fresh-milled flour that I grind right at home in my tiny micro bakery.

In today’s video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what a big festival prep looks like:
• Milling fresh flour
• Mixing and scaling big-batch doughs
• Shaping, proofing, and baking bread
• Fresh-milled tips for home bakers
• Packaging everything for a market
• Chatting about running a home micro bakery in Virginia

If you love cozy bake-with-me videos, home bakery content, or fresh-milled flour, you’ll love this one! I share lots of tips for cottage food bakers, festival workflow, and how I manage big bake days from my home kitchen.

💛 Thanks for being here and supporting my micro bakery!
Don’t forget to comment, like, and subscribe — it helps my small channel so much.

Omg thank you! I want to do a fresh milled micro bakery in my small town. The freezing dough and baking fresh is a great idea. Thank you!!

Loved the video! Grandmother here with 3 year old granddaughter, she loves the fresh milled bread with jam. I use instant yeast but trying to make sourdough with fresh milled flour may be my next challenge. So impressed with your organization!

THIS is the video I needed this morning!
I just got started on my microbakery and I need all the tips and tricks and heads-up on this new venture of mine!!! I also have a 2 year old and she always wants to help!! I do the same and give her dough to play with.
Right now I only have sourdough and cookies.

Your videos help me so much because I’ve started doing a fresh milled micro bakery after seeing your first video about it. I think it’s a need in my town, they just need to find me which has been a struggle haha. I love your micro bakery videos!

So much organization and hard work, so glad it is such a success already! One day you may be all over the country and we can say we knew you when! ❤

I would love to try the cherry almond loaf. Do you share your recipe?

Can you link the bags you purchase from Amazon for your cookies and bread loaves?

What are the laws in your state for concurrent childcare during food production or children being in the food production area? Mine in Arizona seem to be pretty strict compared to what I’m seeing in several vlogs out of other states. In Arizona there needs to be a floor to ceiling door with latch and baby gates don’t qualify, no children or animals in the 4 walls of the production area, also no possible childcare concurrent with production hours at all.
I just don’t understand is Arizona crazy strict

Very helpful seeing what a festival day looked like. Thank you for sharing. If you do not feel comfortable with porch pick-ups, what other locations would you recommend looking into?

I love these micro bakery videos. You're very organized. If you ever do get a more extensive license, would your products be shipable? Alice is a cutie!!

Thank you for sharing, your videos are great!! I wondered which grain mill you have, and if you’d recommend it, or if you plan to purchase another as your bakery grows?

I am trying to make the switch to fresh milled sourdough! Would you be willing to share your sourdough recipe you've adapted? Thank you!<3

I'm in California and I want to start my freshly milled bakery. Do you share your recipes? I'm having a hard time getting structure with soft white cookies. I'm trying to get NYC type cookies.

How do you like your Ankershrum mixer for your yeast dough ? I have a Zacme and love it but can only do 3 loaves at a time (950 gram per ). Wondering if I can do more in an ank. I like GISP recipe too

Hi! What state are you in? With your cottage license do you have to get all your menu items approved? I’m in CA and just started my cottage bakery. I use freshly milled but not 100%. I’m shocked how no one in my area cares about fresh milled.
