You know what Blizzard should address, now that the Forest Trolls are finally being made popular?
They should expand the trolls' lore by naming the ruins of an ancient city where both the Sunwell and Silvermoon City are currently at, as well as explore its cultural significance.
This is something useful for the Archaeologists to look into. We should also have a winding series of ancient Amani tunnels below Silvermoon City, so we may explore its secrets, as well as possible dungeons wings and bosses.

It's really funny that they showed a prime example of why tensions are still so bad with the ending of Eversong Woods.

Instead of explaining himself or doing literally anything useful, Zul'jan decides to ragebait Turalyon into trying to kill him and then goes on to say "I talk my way out of problems" later on. The Amani are fucking insane lmao

Makes you wonder what if Dath and the Amani had a diplomatic relationship and the elves assimilated back into Troll culture, what would have happened then? Great vid as always

Honestly, though, the initial lands the High Elves took over (the upper half of Quel'thlas) were abandoned and uninhabited (despite being supposedly a holy site of the Trolls). Dathremar specifically didn't want to kick anyone off their lands for the High Elves to establish themselves. It's one of the major reasons why they abandoned plans to establish settlements in Tirisfall, as they were already inhabited by humans.

And it was definitely a good decision and karma on the part of Dathremar to have a friendly relationship with the humans in the region for what would come later.

You see the Amani immediately attacked unprovoked the moment the High Elves moved from Tirisfall. They were set upon and attacked by brutal Amani warbands as they moved Eastwards. Then they were trapped by a brutal winter as they were passing through the northern mountains. Between the constant Amani attacks and that harsh winter, the High Elves only survived because the native humans in the region helped them out of kindness.

The Amani have their reasons for hating the elves, but the Elves had reason to want to live, and surprisingly weren't gung-ho about murder to do so. Dath'Remar and the Elves aren't depicted in the lore as senseless conquerors. Back in Tirisfal Glades, they deliberately chose to avoid violence. But Amani already hated them before the Elves even did anything due to Queen Azshara's... Azsharaness and started attacking them.

For all the High Elves ticking the trolls off, and the trolls having their own reasons to hate them, when someone attacks you like that, you stop caring about 'letting them keep their land' so much. Even more so when said lands are uninhabited ruins.

1. When the elves rebuilt on nordrassil illidan poured the waters of the well of eternity into the nearby lake.

2. The mighty tree nordrassil where the elves rebuilt was blessed by the dragon aspects to give the night elfs immortality. Until the events of WC3  where nordrassil was burned/blown up.

3. Teldrassil was a new seed planted by Fandrel Staghelm while malfurion was opposed to the idea because it WAS NOT BLESSED by the aspects. But still allowed them the connection to the emerald dream. Although they were no longer immortal, their lives are still prolonged.

26:30 Honestly No. At least not immediately. It will take time. But it seems Blizzard is gonna rush it at some point. Because they have to cram everything in one Patch nowadays😂

I've always felt it was a missed opportunity that we don't see any troll ghosts wandering the Alterac Mountains, invisible or otherwise, considering how many of them were slain there.

An excellent, unbiased take on this conflict.  Impressive work.

I wish they had established that the Amani loa saved the Amani from extinction every time their wars against the High Elves turned against the trolls - albeit at great cost to the loa themselves. It would add to why many Amani still revere their loa so fervently, and why the loa weren't willing to support Zul'Jin in what they saw as a risky endeavor. For added pathos, reveal that the most protective loa were trapped in the troll ruins under Silvermoon and were experimented on by Dar'Khan Drathir; that's how he resurrected so many times.

Go even futher back and you see that Night-elf and the High-elf are actually decending from Trolls, when the Well was discovered by the Trolls some of them started to build around it and many years later, vola the race of elf was "born" and the trolls blames the elfs for there empires fall.
