@xheartstruck its because the first episode of the USA series is the exact same as the first episode of the British series, but after that it will be original.

@xheartstruck only the first few will be then its going to evolve into different stories & stuff, im a little sceptical for this cause the acting doesnt seem that amazing & there really was no need to remake skins at all. But I'll reserve judgement till see it.

As an American, I can say Americans (who haven't seen the original) are going to eat this shit up. I completely refuse to watch almost complete remake of something I love so much. Was Maxxie even in there?

Honestly i would love to watch a American version of Skins but they must re-work the script to adopt to American youth culture not the same exact  replica of the version from the U.K  in my opinion the U.S version reminds me of the film "MeanGirls"

ok, the fact that this is practically a remake really turns me off. And the fact that hey took out maxxie's character? not cool. I need my sexy gay boy. and chris is ugly. and so is sid.or stan or whatever they're calling him. I will try to watch it, but if after 5 episodes its still shit im giving up. and its on MTV. MTV has Jersey Shore. Enough said. :(
