You have to respect this fella, he’s not afraid to invest in the future.. I drove a roadrailer when I still lived in the UK and it’s nice to see there’s still 28 network rail fellas in brand new high viz standing round doing bugger all 😂

I realise this inspectors have a job to do but in the UK especially there seems to be this ‘willing it to fail’ attitude rather than find a solution. They were immediately ready to cancel the inspection rather than work together to find a fix. Glad you’ve got the attitude to get it done. The whole Country seems to just drag its heels nowadays looking for ways to stop progress rather than look at ways to expedite it. Top work, great achievement!

as a rail enthusiast, i loved this video, and using the railway for what it is originally built for, moving large heavy amounts of materials quick and efficiently. brilliant!

I genuinely did not expect this level of passion for such a routine type of project, but you are right, this is serious stuff, get it wrong and people could lose their lives or at least livelihoods, so it was great to see it taken as seriously as that, but at the same time informative and genuinely entertaining.

Fantastic to see the Ashville team's can-do attitude when the slight fault with the points seemed to make the rail industry folk want to walk away. Daniel, you and the team set an excellent example of how rail projects ought to be delivered.
