Old photos, newsclips, old letters are historically valuable to local genealogists and genealogy libraries. Every town has them. They are always interested in these collections.

whyd you "whatever" those Xmas ornaments, those are Shiny Brights, those are worth some cash

These vintage pieces are actually worth a ton, especially to vintage resellers like myself. ❤

The books, letters, thesis , awards, pics, should be given to the historical society. They would value them.

Being a PhD scholar working on orchids it makes me sad that the orchid slides, articles and research papers on orchids were not appreciated as much as they deserved because they are priceless !

The hand sculpted flower vase was signed and dated by the artist and with no chips, it needs to go to antiques roadshow!

I'm sad you dumped all the old papers. The journal maker in me was yelling nooooo

I’m cringing right now, just one of those stamps, even a loose one…any of them could be VERY COLLECTIBLE ! 🙏🏻❤️

This entire locker is such a valuable beautiful time capsule of a man's lifetime works. It's priceless.

I seriously hope you didn't throw that reindeer candle holder away. Get that wax off and that will sell in a flash. So much you seemed to think nothing of, had so much potential. An orchid society would probably want a lot of that stuff like slides, awards and papers. And unless you are an expert on stamps, you are being quite blase about them. Some of them are worth thousands of dollars each.

Crafters love old books, paper, old photos, slides, rocks etc , lots for your on line auction

The box for the blender was hamilton beach but the blender was oster...a much more expensive brand and vintage collectable

Copper washtub for wood stove. Antique

You can't beat free! The stoppers should fit the pyrex flasks.

That locker is a treasure trove! The owners are definitely distinguished people in their fields of study. That locker is their genius.

It's a copper wash tub boiler, used to "boil" clothes clean on an open fire or wood stove. +/- $75 to 100 in the Midwest if there are no holes in it.

Taking into account his background, Those rocks may be Uranium Ore. I've seen similar looking samples.

There seems to be a lot of vintage & antique items $$$ there is much to profit from!  Save the plant slides, send them to a botanical association with awards etc🌷🦋💐

Stamps can bring you money.  My dad dealt in Stamps and when he  passed brother sold them for quite a bit.

Those small Japanese Pots are for Bonsai and can be valuable depending on the potter.
