"the ghetto archaeologist" got me rolling

I’m a security guard who listens to these on my overnights to help stay awake, this’ll be interesting to listen to tonight lmao

“They don’t know what we got in the swamp” is easily the funniest yet most frightening thing I’ve ever heard

Okinawa ghost stories are my favorite, on the base I was stationed there was a gate that had been closed down for a couple of years that was supposedly haunted. Story went that if you went to the gate at night(let’s say like 12-0300) a Marine in full battle rattle would come out of the jungle and ask for a cigarette. If you gave him one he would smoke it and shoot the shit with you and then just leave. Okinawa is haunted af

Former security guard here. Back in 2017 I worked at an outdoor mall for the evening shift. I would have to check doors around the property at start of shift and again near the end of shift. During my rounds one day I came across an unlocked door to a Tai food restraunt that was suppose to be closed that day. I radio in to property management and go inside to investigate. Called out several times to anyone inside the restraunt. No answer, place is dark as F***. I turn on a flash light and get a glimpse of an unmoving body in a little alcove with cushioned seats. I called out to the person, no response I back away and radio in to management. As I'm talking on radio the person sits up. Several other figures sit up from various corners which I hadn't noticed before. Roughly about 12 people get up in total. I ask them a few questions. Most of them didn't speak a word of English. Turns out the staff was all family and they spend their spend off days in the restraunt. I was never able to confirm it but I later suspected that they all lived in the restraunt. What made it weird is that this was in the late afternoon, and they way that had all slowly sat up and looked at me without an understanding of anything I asked was very unnerving.

I do the night shift at a museum. The scariest moment I've experienced is when I was checking the bathrooms and there was a woman perched on a toilet in one of the stalls. The guard who worked before me was fired for this.

the okinawa guards are full blown coomers wtf

I like the interesting or fascinating stories from people with jobs like these than anons RPing or trying to perfectly write the next creepypasta

I'm a night guard too at a fairly old steel factory. The place legit looks like a horror movie. I have seen some weird stuff in my life in general but seen more weird stuff there since becoming a guard. Friends who are guards and former guards I know have had weird stuff happen too, some at my location some at others.
The reaction of "nope" or just ignoring it becomes your common response.
You just kinda chalk spooky stuff up to "well that's something else that happened" and then move on with your shift.

•See owl
•Cry

story at 9:00 was a paranoid schizophrenic. not really spooky but it's worth knowing about to look out for. she probably turned on her boyfriend thinking he was "in on it"

Sailor here: yeah it's common to see weird shit at sea but Navy ships are common.

"Deep behind jogger lines" sent my sides into orbit

"You had to sing to the land or it would be come hostile." People in Australia clearly cannot sing right. As it has the most deadly and hostile wildelife short of the deep ocean.

Pro-tip: dont work security in jogger territory. You'll thank me.

8:40 sounds like a place I worked in California....
This actually reminds me of a particular client's family member who was barred from the property for assault w/deadly. Mentally ill meth addict. It's sad, because gang stalking is real thing (not usually from the gov't, it's a tactic of cartels etc.) and people like that really discredit the actual victims of extortion to LEAs.

I was stationed at kadena around the same time that marine was. Walked around at night alot, never saw any ghost marines but did get jumped by a small pack of stray dogs right beside that theater. They took off after I got a good kick on one of them.

16:25-29, literally knew a guy just like this and his name was also Tyler. He'd say crazy shit like this all the time, that he was a werewolf or a vampire or an assassin or that his father was the king of the Underworld. Luckily he was roughly a foot shorter than 6'6" and was just a skinny, red headed white kid with glasses. Kinda gave off school shooter vibes in high school but was fortunately harmless.
One time he told a cute girl that he was possessed by a demon and that in order for the demon to leave his body that she'd have to kiss him and she was just like "good for you" and walked away. Ridiculous kid.

the fuckin racist story at about 13 minutes caught me off guard
