Why is it so hard to find someone showing how to disconnect the air box. Every video is like 12 minutes of talking for them to just clean something in the end lmao
Nice video. Definitely would change spark plugs, it’s been said will help with what seems to be a transmission issue. Also agree on changing transmission fluid despite supposedly being lifetime fluid, lol. Just a drain and fill with a little more than came out. Nice of you to look after your friend’s mom. Cheers
That cutting out you’re experiencing is probably a cylinder or two misfiring because I would bet those spark plugs haven’t ever been changed! Same thing was happening to me in my Patriot. I wouldn’t start digging into the CVT, well, ever. Haha!
In the previous 8 months to my 2010 Jeep Patriot over heating and blowing all the coolant out the radiator....I had my Air Conditioner stop blowing air. So I changed the Blower Motor under the Glove Compartment,,and it worked again. Then the air was not cold....so I added Freon....that did not work. I had a new battery, but clean the terminals. Changed the Coolant Sensor. After these work items...my car over heated. I thought I heard something like a small chain dragging on the ground (just the sound...there was no chain)..and so now I am changing the AC Compressor next (I think that will give me back my cold air (I have Freon and the tool to blow it in to refill). Other than that...I since it was cheap..$25 I bought and new Thermostat with the housing it goes in. I like your video a lot..glad it worked for you. Just wanted to share my existing and related Jeep Patriot experience of over heating (the AC Compressor not moving Freon to the other parts of the engine). Thank you again!
Though you’re definitely exhibiting signs of “Locked keys In car” too many times PTSD. I’ve been there too. 😅
