I'd just like to say I appreciate you giving sources to the comic panel you are showing. A lot of people don't do that which is unfortunate.

The world's greatest detective finally did some detective work, and he stuck to the no killing goal much better than other recent Batmen

In the scene where Batman is interviewing Riddler in prison. His eyes are acting the shit out of that scene. The whole, "does Riddler know he's Bruce Wayne" is completely in Pattinson's eyes. It's perfect.

I didn't mind Riddler portrayal in the movie. I actually found the idea of him having a twist admiration for Batman quite fascinating, making feel like a creepy grifter, claming to care for the hero's cause, when in reality he's just mad man lashing out on society just so he can have the attention he desperatly wants.

Pattinsons eye acting is an incredible feat, never seen anything like it

I remember really liking the design of his cowl in this film, this way the eye sockets and cheek bones are made makes it look like a skull 💀

Unique but extremely faithful is how I'd describe the film. Very accurate to a common batman arc of learning to be gentle and hopeful instead of vengeful but its also Unique in its approach with so many things its great man.

Batman grappling gun is inspired in taxi driver hidden gun

6:32 this is when I KNEW this movie was going to be my favorite Batman movie. The way Bruce lingers in the scene and stares at the kid for an awkwardly long stretch of time, almost as if he’s reliving that same night in his head. Perfection.

The best feature of the suit is the fact that his cowl exposes his jawline. Helps express his emotions, gives criminals the urge to try and fistfight him (only to get the shit beat outta them), and gives Batman a more fearless appearance like The Man amongst men in Gotham.

I shit you not, this is my favourite superhero movie. It's so fucking good.

I, genuinely, got emotional last time i watched The Batman. Like, really emotional. Batman is one of THOSE characters for me, and this did so brilliantly a job that I couldn't help but get a few tears out. That's how much I loved this movie and this adaptation.

9:51 fun fact, Zoe kravitz also voiced catwoman in the Lego Batman movie, so this is Lego Batman’s real reaction

23:37 Does he know?

Also Batman’s physique, you have to remember this Batman is rooted in realism; his physique is perfectly fitting for an athletic ninja who HARDLY ever sleeps, his body never has enough time to properly grow and recover from injuries and build back stronger, he merely manages his chronic fatigue. I imagine if this Bruce were to go on a specific training arc where he got proper rest and recovery, he’d likely be significantly more jacked

15:35 my theory is that penguin, catwoman and batman himself will develop into those characters over the trilogy and this was just their introduction

Battinson is my favorite Batmam movie. Not because its "Comic accurate" even tho being comic accurate is what a lot of superhero movies need. not because its so different but because its the perfect blend between Comic accurate and Its own thing. The main thing I love is the VIBES being so batman. It literally feels like a perfect counterpart to the most classic batman story year one🗣💯 this is the gold standard

5:58 what sells this scene for me, and makes it one of my favorite scenes in the whole film, is how Gordon keeps rhyming after he reads the card. He doesn’t just stop at, the card, he ends it with “does any of this mean anything, to you?” And god that just hits

My head cannon is that the twins that guard the iceberg lounge are this universes tweedle dee and tweedle dumb

25:01 just like how Lex could never see Clark Kent as Superman because he believes Clark is too humble and a good man😂😂😂😂
