my favourite theory has to be that Alice is real, but when Daniel remembers Armand he mixes them up
imagine talking to your husband and he keeps bringing up memories that clearly have nothing to do with you, feels very much like something that'd lead to a divorce and your daughter hating you

I bet Armand thought "fascinating" when Daniel slapped Louis

I don’t think Armand was telling the full truth when he said Louis knew everything over the last 50 years. Louis is delusional but he’s not an outright liar.

20:21 "these two are constantly saving daniel from the other" haha this is so true

i headcanon alice's 'blonde eyebrow' to actually be armand's orange eyes, and the 'dyeing them back to brown' is his contact lenses, like he wears as rashid.
like armand used to pretend to be human with daniel, but daniel always preferred him as a vampire (bc of course he did, he's freaky like that)

or at the very least, this is supposed to show that daniel likes people at their most authentic and unique. we see throughout the show he hates people lying and obfuscating, and nothing pisses him off (and piques his curiosity) more than armand hiding behind all of his masks. i'm v much looking forward to when armand drops his facade and daniel jumps his bones

edit: also, this is so interesting to me from armands perspective. he's always kept himself safe by playing a different character (rashid, arun, amadeo, maitre, alice?) and i think the fact that daniel can see right through him, (and is the only one who actually prefers the real armand, not the face he puts up) is terrifying for him. (which is SO FUN im so excited to see where they go with these two)

Dont delete just make a part 2 when the season is over

22:33. I never really considered that, but that is actually quite true. If Armand really wanted to, he could've simply ended Daniel's life right at that moment or before he dropped that truth bomb about his true intentions, but he didn't. Why? Because he has and still does love Daniel in a way that prevents him from ending his life let alone harm him.

14:54 when I tell you that man is SO HAPPY to be able to stare into Daniel's eyes, he smiles THRICE! He could NOT keep it in 😂

Just hit me that Armand doesn’t want to turn anyone because he can’t stand there being a mind he cannot manipulate. I wonder if he wanted Daniel to do the second interview for Louis to turn him and when he realized Louis wouldn’t, turned Daniel in desperation because he cannot abide a world without Daniel, even if it makes Daniel hate him for it. (I’m gonna need an entire season that’s just Devil’s Minion flashbacks, please and thank you.)

I need to rewatch these scenes 😂😂😂 the slap how does daniel get away with not pissing off one vamp but two 🤣🤣🤣 savage

I wonder if he had let him finish the steps he would have told him the whole truth about what had happened through the years.

Honestly all i needed was a rewatch of the series for Armand to go from my least favourite to my favourite character 😭

It’s actually “you felt freer to hold her hand in Paris,” which just makes the Alice is partly Armand theory sooo much more likely imo.

bahahha the tatoo song on the concert disstrack for referancing heated rivalry i'm cackling

I don't even watch Interview with a Vampire, I just know about it through compilation videos and tumblr posts, so I am very much enjoying this.

I was praying for vids like these😭

this was so funny omg. also Armand so mad about the diss track his eyes were shaky

Don’t delete it please! Maybe you can retitle it and add a “outdated” descriptor or something similar. Awesome video, thank you for making it!

3:12 I never noticed he was sitting and twirling his thumbs in this scene why is he so cutesy with it

26:20 never gonna get over "I've done this myself (once)". that's real Daniel right there. did not succeed NEVER tried again thinks he knows exactly how it works

anyways Daniel is so mad he wasn't allowed to kill himself 30 years ago
