How do you go from university to your first job in Japan? And what rules do you need to learn to build a life in Tokyo?

For this first episode of Fuori Casa on Asia, Elena Mezzadri meets Emanuele Agostinacchio, originally from Bitonto, Puglia, who has lived in Tokyo for five years. He arrived as a student, attended the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and chose to start his working life in Japan.

We talk about the Japanese university system, the famous job hunt, and everyday office life, including hierarchies, relationships with senpai, vacations, and work-life balance.
