"Olive Grind" --

Sounds like the goal of a Popeye game.

4:55 that Fire and Ice is such a cool game. It has 100 regular levels, but then also 50(!) hidden bonus levels as an easter egg.
If the game was released today that would probably have been paid DLC.

John is probably the only one that doesn't stand on a platform in MJR's videos :D

The cover art for The Guardian Legend is EXACTLY why I never rented it at my local rental store. I can't tell you how many times I looked at that game but never tried it out! I am sure I would have liked it.

I don't even have to see this video to know it's gonna be buttery

I'm so nostalgic for that G.I. Joe NES game... used to go far but never finished when I was a child.

Thank you for including Battle of Olympus in your Nes hidden gems 3 video. That's an NES game I mentioned that deserves a place as an overlooked action rpg.

The Guardian Legend is freakin' amazing! Such an unlikely pair of gameplay styles but both are done well.

Chrystalis is my favorite NES game. Mad props for recognizing it.

The Guardian Lengend is SOOOOOOOO fun! A buddy of mine got it in a stack of NES games from his uncle years ago, and we have gone back and replayed countless times since. We were actually lucky enough to find a loose manual of it at the flee market near us for $2 a year or so ago! If John has the manual it's actually a pretty cool read and makes it gives you the names for each power up
