Thanks for this vid and allowing me to comment...We all collect or add music to our libraries for many reasons.  Have i bought cd's that I only listen to once...yep...how about never, ever played once...yes again.  Maybe some day, as my music palette changes, I may play that cd...maybe not!...Who knows.  95% of my library is music i like and try to play when I do...Who really cares why I buy any cd...just me! 🎸☮️😁

It's a normal thing now, everyone gets offended and outraged over almost anything, literally anything these days. Times have certainly changed. It's ok to like different stuff, everyone has an opinion on everything, but some just won't accept that now. It's pretty simple, just be a good person and mean we'll, or there is always the other path, thanks for the videos, and thanks for not having another AI slop channel like others that are popping up like crazy.

Coincidentally, I watched that video for the first time last night, and commented on it (e.g., I noted that listening to Dylan's voice caused me both physical and psychic pain LOL).  I also noted to another commenter how endearing you were about the whole thing, poking fun at yourself - I remember that I loved how you said, "I've got 3 different ways of not listening to War", all with a big grin on your face.  I subscribed to your channel then and there.  It's your channel, do what you wanna do, say what you wanna say.

Keep doing what you are doing, haters are gonna hate.  Music is art, it's in the eye or ear of the listener, there is no definitive judge, no matter what Rolling Stone magazine wants to believe.   It is totally up to the listener as to what they like or don't like.  What one person loves, another person hates and vice versa.

Good video… in my own minuscule cosmic importance I completely agree with your definition of “taste”, because that’s what distinguishes the likes and dislikes of we as human beings. To your point I was never a need to see or hear everything that Led Zeppelin put out. But I own multiple cds and consider “Stairway” one of the finest songs ever recorded, I also think they are a “Mt Rushmore” group. But I can go weeks and months without playing a cd of theirs. If something grabs and holds one to an artist so be it, but the same is true if one doesn’t. It doesn’t demean them or your taste and personal judgment. Walt ( new subscriber )

Wow! I remember that video, I think I saw it when it first came out, before people had started posting stupid comments. Like yourself, I've bought stuff I'm not crazy about, or on the fence about. Somtimes I listen to it and keep it, other times I pass it on to friends.

I'm sorry you got that comment. I really like your videos and I find you very pleasant to listen to. Music taste is so subjective. For me, the whole point of it is entertainment and enjoyment. It's all about what you enjoy. Some people turn music into some type of hierarchy, where you're expected to like or dislike certain artists, and they say you don't have taste if your taste doesn't fit their narrative. If I listed the bands I'm not into, I'm sure people would get mad for some reason. This is just my observation from being on the internet lately. Thank you for your work and I hope I continue to see more videos from you.

I completely agree.  There are bands I don't like, but I don't fault people for liking these bands.  I feel like that was cathartic for you, and that is important for your well-being.  Great video and rock on!

I totally get where you're coming from. I have the first six releases of the band Asia and I just don't like them as a band but individually I like the musicians when they were members of other bands. So yeah I get what you're saying.
