THANK YOU for making this video!! I would have never figured out why my belt kept popping off.

Thank you for making this video, I've been busting my butt on how to stop the blade belt from disengaging when you engage the PTO lever. THANK YOU THANK YOU

Great video! I just replaced a deck belt for my neighbor and wasn't sure what that little arm was for. His was not broken, but I was still curious about why it was there. It looked like a manual engagement arm to me, but I knew that could not be what it was designed for.  Now, I know, and you, my friend, have a new subscriber!  😃👍

Thanks for this.  I was trying to put the idler guide up in the bracket also.  Now I'm out to put it together properly!

Thank you so much for these videos!
I had the same exact problems. Missing spacer and missing lever. Have everything ordered and I’m feeling confident about fixing it thanks to you!

Just picked up a tractor just like this for free.  Belt kept coming off and I found a broken "rod" on top of the deck and had no idea what it was.  Now I know and will have to order this rod.  Thanks.

Prefect video. I broke the same guide rod... didn't think it was a major problem. Replaced the belt and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why the belt kept jumping off. Thank you so much for the video

Woooowwww! I have been having the same issue! Jimmy rigged my belt assembly as much as I can to keep the belt on. Had NO idea my idle puller also snapped off. Found it in the yard months ago and just threw out having no idea what it was from. About to buy a new 3k lawn mower today out of absolute frustration with this belt. I have YouTube one last chance and your video was first listed and saved my frckn day!!!

When I reinstalled the pulley with the arm, I mistakenly put it with the arm above the horizontal bar. It worked for a bit, then the belt jumped off (luckily not breaking). When I realized what I had done and put it below the horizontal bar, everything worked fine. Wish I had seen this video first so that I might have noticed that the arm was in the wrong place.

I did all the exact things you did man! I suspect this video will keep getting watched as long as they keep making this mower!

Thanks. My mother's lawnmower has the same issue. Awesome video and description on where to buy it. Thumbs up

Fantastic Video...

love the honesty in this video...i followed pretty much the same path to the same conclusion lol

I enjoy your videos

Great update to the previous video regarding the idler pulley retainer bolt. I too had a broken idler rod, and have replaced it. Still have a clanking noise, though, when the belt is engaged. I'll try inspecting the belt itself to see if it has been damaged.

Thank you

Both of your videos , very helpful. Thanks a ton!

Thank you for the video!! Was a lot easier than it looked took longer to get the bolts off than anything else!!

Troybilt TB30….my bar fell off but stayed on top of the deck….the hole was wallowed out ,I had to use a bolt and  nylock nut….late to your party but enjoy your vids….thanks

Always good to see someone admit they're beat. I'm something of a McGiver myself so I feel your pain. Good job.
