I dont comment much here on youtube however what a savage video! My dad used to work there and I have a particuarly fond memory of being taken around the place as a kid. You are spot on, it is a malthouse which processed barley, the barley would be steeped in water, tricking it to germinate, then it was layed on a floor and monitored until the right moment, it would then be brought to the kiln where the heat would stop the grain from germinating. My great nan and I believe my nan too would pick stuck barley and dust out of the kiln tiles in this place.  It has great signifigance as two renownd barley seeds were created there and it exclusivley supplied the big brand of Guinness with its malt. The big concrete yoke is a silo and I believe a grain dryer/cleaner hence the machinery, the hole at 4:40 I believe is for barley only so good thing you didnt go down there! 😂 The building you enter around 10:58 housed the burners for the kiln and If I recall correctly those squares were the burners, the small door was likely only for inspection/cleaning hence its size and inside I believe is a bucket elevator for taking barley to the various floors. You previously visited the flu of these kilns at 3:09 in the video. The building at 7:10 was the cereal station where they experimented breeding barley. The parts you found at 9:59 are called line shafting, they would have driven machines for screening and cleaning malt, etc via leather or canvas belts going from the pulley to the machine, I believe I see a hoist attached to the one on the left.  In early days the power came from an oil engine however later the place was electrified. Thanks so much for uploading this, I am very fond of this place its a shame it is thecway it is now. If you have an instagram or facebookI can pm you some more info, I have some stuff on afew of the places you have visited however I dont want to give away the locations of them.
