I worked for Bruce at this house for 6 months doing building/decorating work, he was often around. He was lovely to us all, he once invited me to sit down with him and his family to have fish and chips, he would phone my house on occasions and have my wife in stitches. He kindly invited myself and my wife to his “Audience with Bruce’ and sat us with his family, lovely lovely man, and I’m just a builder……… God bless you Mr Forsyth and may you Rest in Piece ❤️

I was really hoping the security cameras were voice activated and said “Nice to see you to see you..”

I went there a few times to deliver furniture - Bruce was always really polite, really down to earth, a proper gentleman.

RIP Caron Keating. Saw her in the first few seconds of this video. Gloria Hunifords daughter. Died too young. 😢

I don't know why this makes me sadly nostalgic, perhaps because as a boy I remember watching The Generation Game with my mum, when home was home and the world was a different place through my childhood eyes. I'm a grandfather now... Time stands still (chops to NP)

Bruce was a fabulous all round entertainer. Lost a legend when we lost him. R.I.P

This brought back many memories. I used to go up to Wentworth with friends. We would sit back from the driving range Just down from where you were and a few smokes. My Friends father used to play golf at Wentworth and would often play with Bruce. I saw many pictures of him and Bruce together, usually with a Charity placard in front of them. I also bumped in to him a few times shopping. Back in the 1980s, before Blockbuster. The area only had one video rental store called Square eyes in Egham. I started working there in the 80s after school and weekends. Quite a few stars from the estate would come in to rent movies. Russ Abbot was the most common.

This is wild. There is a video on Youtube "At home with Bruce Forsyth" that was filmed in 2001, in which Bruce and his wife Wilnelia were interviewed by Caron Keating and showed her around the ground floor of the house a little bit. You can literally see some of the same decorations, curtains and other fittings that are STILL THERE to this day. It is insane that the place has just been left completely abandoned for years and years after poor Brucie checked out.

Directly under your feet at 19:20 is the secret government bunker and tunnels dating from WW2. They were built using London Underground tunnel frames and would have been the seat of government in the event of the Nazi's destroying London HQ. The ramp in the road is where you climb on top. There are hidden entrances nearby. Lots of supporting evidence to see on the internet.

Affirms the old adage that you can't take it with you, so depressing to see it abandoned but I noticed that someone is still keeping the grass cut.

I had to return to this video because by chance I encountered a video on youtube called "
Rich & Famous - At Home with Bruce Forsyth (2001)". In that video, we see the house during it's heyday with the Forsyths enjoying showing their home to the late Caron Keating, who passed away three years after that video was filmed. It is quite difficult to watch the two videos alongside each other but it does show what it was like when lived in by "Mister World" as Bruce was called in Puerto Rico.

Good job boys. Thank you for being respectful, not making snarky comments about the interior and not disturbing things....😊

I really enjoyed this explore — Bruce Forsyth’s abandoned mansion is amazing to see. Hard to believe a place like that is just sitting empty. The house looks around 1920s–1930s build, proper old luxury style. Even that kitchen looks like a classic 1990s–early 2000s upgrade — the kind rich families used before everyone switched to grey modern units. JJH definitely needs to find out the exact build year because this place has serious history. Bruce was on TV over 60 years… Play Your Cards Right, The Price Is Right, Strictly — the man basically worked longer than my Wi‑Fi has behaved. Brilliant explore JJH, keep them coming.
