When I heard that this one had Optimus vs Bumblebee I was actually excited. Then I remembered that Michael Bay’s editing team exists.

4:31, "Has my life been wasted? Do you ever feel like that?"

Yes, Sir Anthony, I do

I like how the end of Transformers 4 was all about Optimus Prime regaining his faith in humanity... and in this movie he gets turned evil within the first five minutes, and then disappears for two hours, then fights Bumblebee for five minutes, then turns good again, then disappears for 30 minutes, then comes back to say "I AM OPTIMUS PRIME!!!" multiple times.

“Megan Faux” was pure gold.

and Michael Bays answer to everything.

its easy to write 14 movies when they all essentially have the same plotline. Autobots try to stop Decepticons from finding special maguffin #5 and destroy/conquer the world. the video games had more compelling plotlines, even the commodore 64 ones.

2:13 This is not the script. This is the actor wondering out loud about her role.

"That is the dumbest idea you can possibly have", that was an actual quote from the movie

The Transformers movie series would be so much better if it focused more on the Autobots working with Military, instead of a half-dozen other un-memorable human characters.

The Transformers movies you haven't made an Honest Trailer for:
- Dark Of The Moon (the somehow improved but still not great third movie)
- Bumblebee (the non-Michael Bay-directed (but produced) spinoff-prequel that somehow retconned almost everything, so a rebootquel?)
- The Transformers: The Movie (the 80s animated movie that is still the basis of whiny gatekeeping purists)
