“The bullies leave, the people being bullied don’t leave...I want to rescue my party from this.”

“If there are any tears being shed today, it should be for the children, the women and the civilians in Gaza.”

Green members and Greens for Palestine activists react as the party passes a motion to define Zionism as racism.

The line is thinly drawn between resistance and racism against the other side...Any resistance movement that excuses and celebrates the death and kidnapping of innocent civilians at a music festival has itself become infected with racism. The irony is chilling

One assumes that journalists were barred from the Green Party debate in the conference hall, so that they couldn't report exactly what those who heckled Caroline Lucas actually said.

If people don’t like it then don’t vote for the greens. Those members can also leave the greens. It’s quite simple.

I don’t vote 99% of the time but I think I will next time.

Zionism is racism but it’s actually much worse than that. What’s telling is the right wing media is in a frenzy over this. Not a ward about the Palestinian victims. No concern at all.

Some people can now say that these right wing Zionist msm outlets may also possibly be racist by supporting Zionism.

Zionism is NOT racism. What an absurd and stupid conclusion.

Never forget Israel voted against a UN General Assembly resolution declaring the transatlantic slave trade the "gravest crime against humanity" because of concerns over atrocity hierarchies and financial reparations.

So as a black person I support the greens 💚 and denounce Zionism

When he says the women and children in Gaza, does he also include the dead Israeli women and children kidnapped, taken to Gaza and murdered? No I thought not.

Politics is not for to clash over ideologies and religions. We would probably watch this with amusement, unfortunately Islam kills for very trivial reasons, for laughing off this stupidity. We discuss stupidity and people get killed for it.

The Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, which was severely damaged in a December 2024 arson attack orchestrated by Iran, belongs to an ultra-Orthodox Haredi community that traditionally holds a non-Zionist or anti-Zionist theological stance, making them spiritually separated from the State of Israel and its military
