What we're doing here is what's known as full-wave rectification. By increasing the charging efficiency compared to the original and changing the power supply method to one that stably draws power from the battery, we're customizing this Showa-era Monkey so that it can use the latest 12V LEDs.

Some people say it's unorthodox because it goes against the original, but I really like it because it's convenient and improves both the appearance and safety. It's a bit difficult, but it can be done with commercially available tools, so I recommend it. Please refer to it.
