This one really hit home! It reminded me of someone who once told me, “Buy this truck, and we’ll get you a contract in Mpumalanga.” Luckily, I was sceptical and asked for a formal contract or at least something in writing before committing. It made me realise how dangerous it is to build a business on promises and assumptions. Do your due diligence, get the commitment in writing, and only then put your money on the line. Long-term sustainability cannot be built on “trust me, the contract is coming.”
I'm passionate about this business, This is my brainchild from 12years old. I'm working on my finances right now in order to get truck. Tried in 2020, due to covid, the guy who subcontracted me died of covid and the spouse couldn't continue with business. I took a break. Thank you for the information and free education. I'm working on getting x10 trucks. I pray, in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
Someone please comments on this in order to trace it back. I will also try to save it. Thank you once more to this podcast.
Ive been in this industry for the past 10 years as a manager for Coke trucks. I think its time I did my own ting because everything he spoke about is what I am currently working with.
