Brilliant speech. Yes, we citizens of South Africa, from all races, and all cultures are human beings who deserve the opportunity to have a government that cares. I will be voting DA.

I truly hope that everything said in this speech is brought to fruition. We need to avoid mimicking Europe's approach but instead build a truly capitalistic economy.  Through that the state will have the funds to help those most in need.

I love the fact that he focused on education as I believe nothing will change this country more than giving every child the opportunity to have the skills to uplift themselves. I would love it if (when the state can afford it) we had education systems for older people too that they could receive the education they were denied in the past. As the proverb goes "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime".

Great speech!! Get the message out there.

Thank you for presenting the true dehumanising nature of apartheid and the lasting legacy it created and not try to minimise and revise it like another political party does.  Tragic that the ANC  abused the trust of the majority it promised to uplift and held the country back.

Geodin is just the total opposite of John Steenhuizen whose default setting was hysteria.  Geodin speaks measured and straight forward, without any bias in this speech.  With him I see hope for the DA, because under John's leadership, where the strangest of decisions were made seemingly without any forethought, shot the DA in the foot time and time again.

Bring back investment to this country.

The moment politicians understand that we are the descendants of Jacob, the black and white sheep,  that day our country will heal. The interference of other religions is the death of our country, the hatred, antagonism and jealousy was and is been generated by them, the so called brother hood. The same happened with the NP regime, controlled by their brother hood excluding those who was not members of the NP. The ANC applied the same principles, hopefully the DA will learn from both the NP and ANC.

This is a brilliant, clear speech by a statesman.
We can believe this.
We need it.

Voting for a political party is like buying a car. Politicians are like car salesmen. They all offer to sell you a car, but before you get it, you are already paying for it. You are forced to pay for it. There are 500+ salesmen. The car each of them offer you varies a lot. Some are better than others. Some are worse. With some salesmen, like the ANC and the EFF, you could end up with a bicycle with flat tyres. So the DA could be better.They could sell you an old  car without an engine or a gearbox. But it looks good. When people see it,  they compare it to the  EFF bicycle and then they want to buy it. Especially after such a nice sales speech .They just don't know any better.
