Replaced pads yesterday. I refer to this whenever I work on my brakes as a refresher. Thank you. Also - Pipe cleaners work great for cleaning the pistons.
Thanks for posting, removing the bracket/caliper will make this job a LOT easier, e.g. save time, easier to clean, easier to retract pistons, no bleeding required. Putting bike on center stand will alleviate the need to jack the rear with you scissor jack.
thanks for the video; I appreciate it. I was baffled by one thing, though. Seems to me that when you compress the pistons, but fluid should then just return to the reservoir where it was when there was more brake pad. I don't see a need to open the bleeder. Am I missing something? I've never seen or used that technique before. thanks again.
