You guys need to give Kevin his on small game series . The world needs more Kevin Murphy

I grew up dirt poor in Cold Springs Kentucky in the 70s.  Catfish, squirrel, bluegill and frogs were commonly eaten.  There is something that is so wonderfully American about this video.  I love it!

“Right down yonder”. One of my favorite Southern sayings

My boy Kevin Murphy needs his own you tube mini series 🧐

I can skin a buck, I can run a trotline, ...a country boy can survive.

Being born and raised in Kentucky and commercial fishing for most of my young teenage and adult years, this episode brings back so many memories (and in the case of trot lines and untangling them, nightmares)

Man, this makes me miss my old man. I grew up jugging, trot lining, and night fishing into the dawn on this lake while we waited for the jugs to do their thing. Haven't been in years.

I’m from England and we just don’t have that kind of fishing here. Which I’m pissed about. That is simply genius! I always say ‘oh that was my favourite episode’ after every episode. F**k it there all my favourite!!

Crazy how he just takes he just takes home as much as he wants / as much as he can get

Quite the cliffhanger with the paddlefish, was looking forward to seeing how it tasted

I love this episode as it shows the importance that understanding how to process your catch is just as important as knowing how to catch it. Fishing from shore in the Northeast, I catch bluefish a lot, which to most is regarded as a gamey trash fish. Fun to catch, but not to eat is what most people say. But I've been eating them and found that properly bleeding the fish, and trimming the fillets of dark meat, belly meat, and chilling removes all of the gamey taste and rivals plenty of other prized catches in flavor. Great episode, think I'll go load my poles into my truck now.

Kevin  Murphy is the man. Not only the world's best small game hunter, turns out he's the best no rod/reel fisherman.

Welcome to Kentucky baby! This video epitomizes why i love living here! Awesome job brother! ✌😎✌

12:45 thanks for getting him out of his pain

Thanks for respecting southerners, Steve. I know there’s plenty to parody, but you avoid tropes and don’t prejudge ppl. I notice and respect you even more for it.

♥️ from Texas.

I love steve rinella. He has shaped me to be a ethic knowledged hunter. I appreciate all the time he puts foward in making these videos for us. I wish i could hunt or fish with the guy. That would be my dream in the hunting and fishing world.

Jugging, limbing.  All illegal in my state and next door.

Welcome to Kentucky. Best out of all

Wow, watching y’all eat that fresh caught catfish and me not having any makes me want to eat my hand.

When I get that notification of a new video, my day is complete.
Those Blue Cats are just gorgeous.
