Today for Day 1 of the 12 Days Of ChrisMas we're going to be taking another look at the show Undercover Boss, and it gets even worse. It was already a show I don't remember being that bad but fast forwarding to season 5 it just gets worse. Luckily we have some help with returning boss Colby! If that makes you feel better I guess. Anyways enjoy and lets hope I can finish this series!

CEO - "I broke a glass and the girls didn't offer to help me clean it up."

Dude, you broke the glass. The girls are busy entertaining customers.

Kolby's disguise makes him look like your dad's friend he had when you were a kid, then realized as an adult he was probably a criminal

I think it’s really funny that they disguise the CEO. I seriously doubt that any employee at a company that isn’t Amazon, Tesla etc know who their CEO is.

I love your optimism that they're playing up the CEOs' ineptitude. as a food service worker, I can attest to the fact that the higher-ups are so far out of their time in service/have never actually done any service, so they are actually this useless when it comes to helping on the floor.

I absolutely love how these owners act shocked that the douce bag managers treat these girls like garbage. Dude, YOU created the environment, WTH did you think would happen??

I love how the Boss in this episode basically set up a place just for people to be perverts and then he's got the shocked Pikachu face when he actually has to work there. Don't get me wrong, it's creep central there, but what was he expecting considering the vibe of Twin Peaks?

Working in retail, I can promise you that I remember terrible customers way more than regular customers

@dracocrusher 1 year ago

Marissa really got screwed over, huh? I mean, she's swearing because she's being authentic with the customers. She puts up with creeps all day long and the one thing they want is to interact with some authentic people that they can get parasocial with.

I mean, that IS their business, you know? People don't want the girl that stays professional. They want to hang out with the girl that acts like she's their friend and can make them feel less lonely and pathetic for a bit.

So I am a huge fan of David Lynch and his television series Twin Peaks. Back in 2017 I was in Vegas with a person I was seeing and her dad. We were walking the strip and I saw a Twin Peaks, thinking it was themed for the series I enthusiastically suggested that we go there! I was extremely embarrassed by the suggestion when I found out it was a breasteraunt and not a recreation of the black lodge.

My 15 year old son walks in on me watching your video...mom YOU watch Chris James too??? Why yes son I do! Either he's super mature or I'm immature. I'm going with he's super mature. 😂

I’m busy cooking up the sob-story I’d spin next time I suspect I’m on an episode of Undercover Boss.

8:27 lmao these guys are probably thinking "we only came here to be served by the pretty girls and they give us this awkward middle aged man wtf.." like I thought he was being trained as a cook or some sort of kitchen-only job 😂

Donation to a charity of your choosing is such a slap in the face.. and it's typically an absurd amount like 30 or 50 grand. Like, "here's how much money i have to just give away, but none of it's for youuu"

@FflawedMetalhead 1 year ago

I love that the CEO got mad that the girls didn't offer to help him. Why would they? You broke it, you know where the glass is - They don't, the area is cramped, and they have customers to attend to. All the cleaning supplies are also probably in the back, so they'd have to walk over broken glass to get anything. You want them to use their bare hands?
