Despite its location in the metropolitan city of Osaka, this station only has around 150 passengers per day, making it the lowest-ranked station in Osaka City by a long way.
The station building hasn't been renovated since 1940, and has remained in use for over 80 years.

Because of this, Kizugawa Station is sometimes referred to as a hidden station in a big city.

ガランとした駅舎、閉まった売店、砂利道…。これが大都会の中の駅だと言われると、目眩がしてきます😵💫
汐見橋線の中でも木津川駅は秘境駅ですね😅
廃止されず車両も置き換えされるようで今後も
大阪のローカル線として残り続けそうです！
2019年12月12日の朝日新聞 夕刊で「おおきに！関西」で紹介された新聞を今も保管していて、いつか行ってみたいと思っていました。動画を見て益々 行きたくなりました。阪神なんば線の駅名を桜川に、また なにわ新線ルートを難波に譲らされたり(？) いろいろ イタイ目にあってる汐見橋線ですが、南海も住民の方々も愛着がお有りなのでしょう。まだしっかり経験できる間に 近々 行ってみます!! 動画が いいきっかけになりました。ありがとうございました!!
現に天下茶屋から天王寺の間の天王寺支線廃止の際に揉めに揉めて2段階廃止になっているのを考えると
廃止にするとか言ったら、相当揉めることになるのを知っているので南海が追い詰められるか、大地震が起きて街の形を変えるとかそういうことがない限り
南海から廃止とは言えないと思う。
分かりやすい説明と優しいお声に癒されています。たまにお茶目なところも楽しいです。
気にはなっていたけど自分ではなかなか行けないところが見れて嬉しいです。
