The Prison of Warport or Karosta as it is now known was built in the early 20th century and the intention was to use it as a hospital. Just as it was built the soviet army decided to use it as a prison instead and so it was used like that for over 90 years. Currently the prison is more than a hundred years old and I decided to spend a night in it.
