I love wayching videos about Petscop because i always forget what happens in Petscop

Petscop getting the full revival treatment

If anyone hasn't watched Pheyden's Petscop video, do so after watching this.

"Why does Petscop make you feel like you're standing in someone else's house at 3am, reading letters that were never addressed to you and you've just noticed the front door is locked?" Is this a common experience for you?

1:02:12 It's at this moment where, if what happened to Paul was happening to me, I would snap the game disc in half, erase all save data and possibly throw the console into a wood chipper.

One theory i’ve heard is that lina died inside the windmill, where her and the others were playing inside before she fell on a spinning mechanism, evidence being that figure standing on a rotating device. Both her and the windmill disappearing was marvin’s doing, as he set the windmill on fire in an attempt to bury the accident. Paul saying it looks like a rock was because the image was showing the debris of the aftermath, with the ashen pile never being cleaned up. Rainer blamed marvin for lina’s death, saying “she and the windmill were there one minute then gone the next” is him saying “i know you did it.” Weither he did or didn’t is debatable, but it no doubt broke him, mentally, and so he later did the things he did.
It could be wrong, but it definitely feels like a better explanation than, “her and the windmill magically vanished.”

To increase engagement metrics I am commenting that I am glad this video is actual analysis and thus worth watching as not just another petscop video

Pyro could never

This has been the most cohesive vid on Petscop ive seen, I feel like I actually get it now

I did kinda forgot this game existed, and I certainly did not expect it to come up here.

Not gonna lie that tape deck sound in this vid made me think I have mice in my room

hopefully this is will be the video essay that helps me understand wtf is going on in petscop😭

What I would love to know more about, is how they made Petscop, and the tools used

I've watched video essays about Petscop for about 7-8 times, am I going to watch another long hours video about it? Yes, yes I am

There's a lot of art theory about the use of negative space. This is definitely an... interesting way to look at using negative space, the gaps in the answers and the truths that are just as, if not more, important than the ones that are shown.

Out of all the things I don’t understand about Petscop the one question I really want an answer to is: If Marvin was successful in his transformation of Care (I know this is impossible) what was he going to do with afterwards?  Though perhaps the answer to that question is more terrible than what happened to Care in the first place.

I love that we are finally in 2026 getting the petscop footage rearranged into chronological order and made sense of, I always felt it had petered out at the end like it was just uploading leftover footage but these recent revisits have put those final uploads into the overall story

Petscop is such a confusing series with the story hinting at constantly conflicting and different stuff.

The references to the Newmaker death that happened IRL cause of rebirthing, then it suddenly switches to abuse and murders, then to kidnappings and then to revenge and even a suicide, then it turns out the rebirthing process is a machine? it's so oddly disjointed at times. There's even paranormal references like the windmill apparently disappearing with people in it, which they make it VERY clear it did flatout vanish, instantly. Not destroyed and therefore "vanish", it disappeared.

17:10 dawww they love us.

Honestly Rainer's suicide really hit so hard for me. Just this idea that he gave them a gift, walked away while they opened it and read the card, presumably ending his life in the bathroom in a way they would not be able to save him.... tragically leaving himself for them to see, likely in the anger and rage knowing they were at fault for the death of his brother...
