Thanks captain , helped a lot π couple of tips to anyone if it helps.... I bought a pack of 6 cork floor tiles $13 Aussie... I then used a block of timber around 100mm x 100mm x 15mm softwood, outlined the size of cork I needed to sand down, nailed how ever many nails 30mm x 1.6mm brading nails I needed to hold the piece of cork, in my case 5, one inside each corner & 1 in the middle, set the depth of the nails to the thickness I needed this held the cork while I sanded it until I reached the tip of the nails... Worked a treat Hope this helps anyone. π
