This is the one I was most looking forward to examining.
The Face Shrine is a well designed dungeon, but that isn’t what it’s most well known for. Anybody who has played Link’s Awakening will instead remember this dungeon as a pivotal moment in the game’s narrative, one that takes no issue with letting you sit with a sense of dread for a little while.
I’m joined by @ZeldaMusicTheory to examine what makes the Face Shrine (and its music!) so good.

Not long after, the Owl appears, telling Link that Marin knows that Link waking the Wind Fish will bring about the end, and that she accepts it.
Marin knew. She always knew. And that renews Link's determination to finish things.
