FAQ's:

1. No, I don't work there.  I already have a day job.

2. No, the employees don't ask me what I'm doing.  They've never asked me to stop, either.  They walk right past me all the time.  Have you ever worked in retail?  I have.  If I had ever seen somebody doing this, I'd have kicked the butt of anybody who tried to stop them.

3. No, the employees don't get excited when I walk in.

4. No, my arm doesn't get tired from holding the phone like that.

5. No, I will not strap on a GoPro, Meta glasses, or any other Inspector-Gadget-style device to make these videos.  That's just weird-looking and totally not something I care to do.

6. No, I didn't place that thing incorrectly or leave that other thing in its spot just to bother you.  I also don't have a DeLorean or a Flux Capacitor, so I'm unable to build a time machine and go back and fix whatever it is that's bothering you.  This may be stating the obvious, but I'm not there anymore, and time has moved on.  Maybe we should, too.
 
7. Yes, I probably should find something better to do. Perhaps I can spend my time watching someone do this on YouTube.

8. No, I don't know how long it's going to be before I do another one of those videos that you like better than this, but I'm sure it's coming soon.

9. No, I don't want to whisper these videos. Even for me, that feels weird and uncomfortable.

10. No, I really don't care what other people think when they see me doing this.

11. They aren't paying a bunch of people to sit and watch me on the security camera, so no, nobody's discussing what I'm doing.

12. Yes, I truly do this because it makes me happy.

13. No, I don't have OCD...not even the self-diagnosed variety.

14. No, the employees never thank me for doing this.

15.  Saying "flavor" rather than "scent" is a running joke. People complained about it, so I will now do it for all of eternity.

16.  No, no one in the store has ever offered me a job after seeing me do this.

17.  Yes, it’s SUPER expensive.

18.  Yes, it’s SUPER inexpensive.

Its really intetesting to see that because youve been doing this for a while, you can identify when companies are decreasing the amount of soap in their packaging. Its like a documentation of shrinkflation

i don't laugh out loud very often but i got caught guard with the sea minerals joke right off the bat. "we got sea minerals. i don't sea any minerals" idk that just made me laugh too hard

The Dollar Tree videos are my favourite, I am obsessed with the soap/baby/otc sections when you fix them up, it's so relaxing.

As a kid, I would play with the soap displays and put them in place like this. I loved the feeling of the thin plastic covered boxes sliding into place. This makes me feel weirdly nostalgic, and I find these videos so relaxing. I also love that you use the word flavor instead of scent. Makes me imagine people buying soap to lick it 😅 I've jokingly referred to scents as flavors for a while. The fact that the joke stuck because people complained about it orginally just makes it better imo.

My brain just turns to mush everytime I watch you organizing soap, especially when everything fits perfectly in its place. It's just my favorite thing. It helps A LOT with my OCD and anxiety.

Whistle identifier here! That noise was a kid blowing through the straw you used to get with cheap water bottles. The only place ive seen them in ages is in the big plastic cups you get from the hospital.

2:10 the reason these look like that isnt the staff of the store, but the warehouse staff. They treat every box like its full of just unbreakable stuff, so everything literally gets kicked around and squished
