That wiring diagnosis was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen (I'm 77).

Anyone who can track down a bad wire in that mess deserves my respect!

That new camera has a 220° turn radius, 4x zoom and 6 led light options. enjoy

"Luckiest thing ever." I think not. That was very creative thinking based on sound logic. Well done

I've been riding touring bikes forever and I work on my own but this wiring challenge is amazing. You are by far the most gifted u tuber I've seen and I've been watching many others forever. Thanks for the informative and entertaining vids.

incredible find on that cdi wire for spark.. not a lot of people would have gotten that one.

That injector should be spraying a lot more than that

There are 2 lines. One is supply and the other is return. There is a pressure regulator which opens up flow to the return. Try swapping the 2 fuel lines arround.

probably need to replace missing fuses in second fuse box

"Gunther, can we make ziz more complicated?"  "Ja! Hold mein bier!"

Amazing patience joe, and finding solutions.  You don’t seem to back away from a challenge at all!  Best YouTube channel out there!!

I sold bmw , Honda , Ktm and Polaris at one time.
The owner of Dow , Herbert H Dow who I didn’t know came in one day and looked around we talked for 30 minutes about a bmw 1200 and said I will take it , have it ready next week and left. I scrambled to find the accessories he wanted and got them installed and when the day came for him to take it home he was a no show.
So I tried for a few days calling and nothing, finally a few days after that a local car dealership calls me asking if I have a guy buying a motorcycle and his name Herbert I said yes.
Well Mr Dow was having a mental episode in his advanced age and was at the wrong place and furious they didn’t have his bike. So I finally get in contact and talk with his caretaker and even though Mr Dow was unable to ride due to the dementia he was dealing with the caretaker stopped and paid for the bike and took it home, I bet that bike was never ridden and if not sold it’s setting in a warehouse somewhere in mid Michigan.
I always wondered what happened to him he was a nice guy and I hoped for the best but it didn’t look good.

BMWs are a real challenge. I have total confidence in Joe. He’s a naturally gifted fellow!

Spray starting fluid to verify if it runs which leans toward timing being good.

Dude, that is a classic find. The 2003 model was built with quality beyond belief. I hope you get that running and hang on to that. I ride one in Germany on the Autobahn at 250 kph.

Geez Joe, I'm pulling my hair out with an electrical gremlin on a Honda CT 70 and you make this look like childs play.  I'm not worthy...

Pierce Brosnan and Michelle Yeoh in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), riding the regular version of this motorcycle while being pursued by the bad guys in a helicopter. Love this motorcycle!

I fell into BMW motorcycles by mistake a few years ago. Since, I've determined the engineering throughout is top notch. Some models have known issues, but education is key. Working on my 98 flying brick today. I've never considered myself a mechanic, but I enjoy wrenching and restoring these bikes.

I feel like I'd want to see what's inside the Air box for mice first, which might inform wire chewing potential.

You should check an air box and filter for a mouse nest. Air is needed too to burn the fuel.
