đź“– Forty years of dressing women over 60, the whole method, set down in one book
https://viviansinclairstyle.com/
This is not a list of things that will make you look younger. It is simply what I do, every evening and every morning, so that I do not wake up with puffy eyes.
I am not a doctor, and I am not a dermatologist. These are habits, not treatments, and I learned them the slow way, by paying attention to what worked on my own face after the morning I caught my mother's tired eyes looking back at me in the boutique mirror at fifty-two.
Here is the hopeful part nobody tells you. If you wake up puffy, it is not because you are old and it is not because you slept badly. Most mornings it is fluid that settled while you lay flat, in the thinnest skin on your face. Fluid moves.
First, the three kinds of puffiness, because they are not the same thing: the morning kind that drains, the kind tied to something medical that belongs to your doctor, and the permanent kind that no habit or cream will move.
Then the five things I do:
• I stop at seven in the evening: the salty dinner, the second glass of wine, and the big glass of water at bedtime
• I sleep on my back with my head raised, and the giveaway that tells you which side you sleep on
• I take the day off my eyes with a pat, never a pull, because the skin there is the thinnest you own
• I am particular about what my face sleeps on and breathes: the pillowcase, the feather pillows, the window, and the cat
• I walk twenty brisk minutes before breakfast, because that fluid has no pump of its own
Plus the two-minute rescue for the mornings that go their own way: two cold teaspoons, the feather-light sweep from the inner corner down to the neck, and the concealer rule from my foundation video. It gives me an hour or two, not a cure, and I say so.
Not one of these costs money. Give it two weeks before you judge it, and if one of the five is impossible for you, skip it and keep the rest.

Tell me in the comments which of the five you will try tonight, and come back in two weeks and tell me whether your mornings changed. I read every single one, and they decide what I make next.
