I love the racer Max because he always does what he says, never beats around the bush, and says it like it is.

He wasn't blaming his own team, "with others" he was referring to the rookie mistakes Mclaren kept making. Being half Dutch he has my support naturally, but his skill level and "old school" (pre political correct/woke era) attitude is what I love the most. The man is an old school racer through and through, being prepared to do what ever it takes to win, like most legendary athletes through history were.

Max is just no nonsense. He is the most real person on the grid. I can only appreciate that. All that fake bs. Why would I want to see fake people when I am watching a real sport with real people? He says what everyone is sometimes thinking. Don't tell me none of us sometimes wish we dared to be as brave to say those things to our bosses, annoying neighbors or harassing people. As for the British media thing: The British media has been biased against Max since he started in F1.

I like Max because he is real. A beast on track, loves real racing (none of that polished stuff), wants to better the sport and it is not for likes or image, is there for racing only and not PR or media, he is incredibly kind and down to earth, has always remained the same guy except maybe a bit more mellow, his overtakes and W2W with Charles for example is pure cinema, he wants to make racing more accessible for people who cannot afford years of karting, he is one of the hardest working drivers, he is funny, withstood years of bias, came in as a teenager while nobody really took him under his wing but is now always ready to support the younger drivers, and I could go on and on but I'll stop here, lol.

Max isn’t even 30 and already in the goat conversation, just a generational talent.

And got some personality… 😅

What to add…. There is and was and never will be such a race driver again. He is the ultimate racer with the attitude of Senna, Schumacher and his dad combined.

He just had no filter, he is himself, got to respect that ♥️

I love Max. He's everything. He's so genuine, so honest and straightforward, and a very kind gentleman. Love him

He’s simply the best

The fun of a new fan, u can see best/iconic races like 2008,2012 2024 brazil or 2011 canada for the first time. Its really worth it

to me he is very relatable, same directness, same allergy for bs, a bit abrassive, emotional honest.
but yeah am dutch. this is pretty much our default form of communication.
a bit above the median, but a good reflection of our way of having discussions during birthdays and christmas ;)

Love max for his skills and his heart

Not only the best, but also the most entertaining driver to watch. The dude is just locked in 110% and has no bad days. Even when he's down in qualifying he makes his way to the front. When he's not racing in F1 he's sim racing with his esports team or does other stuff like the Nurnberg 24H GT3 race etc.

Btw, when he said 'because of others failures', he meant the rival team (Mclaren that year) was not maximising their performance and lost alot of points because of that.

Now watch him carry GT3 racing. Not saying he's the one reason GT3 endurance is successful but his involvement are bringing so many fans to it. So excited for the 24hrs this weekend

17:55 Redbull was partnered with Honda back then, so they used Honda engines from 2018 to 2025. It was Renault / Infiniti before that.
Now, in 2026, RB uses their own engines made in-house with the help of Ford.

You have to look at Rick's F1 addictions , he posts really good vids

By so many of these clips you need the whole context. First one was his first championship, with the Brit press, they were very critical of him previous. With Ocon he was in first place and Ocon was lapped and then Ocon tried to unlap himself with a lot orf risk. And then smiled when Max confronted him. etc etc.

He wasnt joking about the media from UK being gone on that press conference, they left cuz there was no english driver on the podium, this shit happened before :)

22:41 exactly why I love Max because he does that

Max Verstappen is the absolute greatest talent we have seen since Senna and Michael! A pure and raw natural talent, comparable to Senna. A phenomenon without equal who proves it to this very day. His character fully corresponds to his pure and raw natural talent; every phenomenon like a Max, Michael, Senna, or Johan Cruyff was not put on this earth to please you... but purely to challenge you to go further than your own artificial horizon. Lewis Hamilton (King of PR) is an example of the exact opposite... a talent, of course, but anything but raw and pure!
