An old joke I heard about Chivalry. “Some say chivalry is dead. I held the door open for a woman the other day and she told me she didn’t need a man to open doors for her. She insulted my honor so I challenged her to single combat. Chivalry isn’t dead, but that lady is.

Looking at armored combat...Judo makes a lot more sense now.

Thanks for coming dude! As a longtime fan of yours, I was profoundly disappointed in your first experience with Buhurt, and was absolutely delighted to shake your hand and have the chance to be a part of a more positive experience with the sport we love so much. Buhurt is Love 💙

You know its going to be fun when the event has "WARNING:  Broken weapons may fly at the audience".

I love this crazy medieval stuff. It's like a realization of every kids' childhood dream of bloody chivalrous violence.

Thank you for coming to the tournament, glad you enjoyed wearing my armour and having a small knock around with kruig.
If i had known i would be on video so mich id have my make up on 😂

why is this actually way cooler than i thought?

Sensei Seth is like MCU iron man  of martial arts he’s just everywhere 😭

"The realm needs good men"

You've probably gotten a pretty good insight on why your average's knight's training was maybe 20% weapon training/riding and 80% PT and endurance training. "Ah, the weather's nice today. Time to do a 10k in full armor before breakfast."

I was there! I was a fighter for Tidewater Dogs of War.
Thanks for the coverage, the sport should be a whole lot more popular than it is.

Thank you so much for coming and seeing what our sport and martial art is all about. It was great to meet and talk with you. If you or anyone have any other questions about buhurt please reach out to me. Thanks again!

I just realised airsoft is basically the modern version of this

I am tickled to no end by the idea of a guy in full plate armor trying to get past the metal detector at the airport.

But that's the beauty about competition, isn't it? As long as there's a winner and a loser, people will train, they will develop strategies. So whenever you watch a sport at a high level, even if it looks chaotic, that just means that you don't yet get it.

“It doesn’t stop a concussion, but it stops the damage to the face.”😮

Seth, i just did my first muay thai class last night because of your time covering it. You really have influenced so many of us to do great things for our health, safety, and lifestyles. I also snaoped one of my kicks and got beat up😂

Most people reacting to this sport seem to be disappointed that the swords aren't doing much, and then they basically dismiss it as a sport beyond just punching each other. Glad to see a better take

I hate when people act like the swords dont do anything as if blunt force trauma doesn't exist and it doesn't about as much damage as it would in medieval times
