"You were the understudy, right? Tell me what happened!"

"I killed her."

"My mom would kill me if I didn't call you Ma'am"

Jonathan Groff auditioned for the chorus. He did the entire dance in an interview once, it was hysterical.

she is one of those people like hayley williams that looks good with every color hair.

She is so amazing here, but if you look at her current work you can really see how much she has grown as a performer.

The costumes were more street-clothes like in the LaJolla tryouts. For Broadway, Martin Pakledinaz decided to go with a more stylized look and louder colors to make her pop on stage. Got him a Tony. There were some vibrant colors in 20's dress though. And, here against those Manhattan towers Sutton stunningly looks like an Erté Art Deco figurine.

Did she really say "the milk man"?....unbelievable!

Sutton is great! The best fit for Millie.

There are many chorus men behind Sutton..

@dessay: Please do your research!  There were black flappers in the 20's; they just didn't normally mix with white flappers.  This show is a fun send-up to the time and to the campy movie of the same name.  Stop taking it so literally...this isn't Ragtime, it's Millie!

I agree with a few posters back, Julie Andrews will always by Millie in my head... Sutton is fantabulous though.

OMG SUTTON FOSTOR IS SO FABLUOUS , ND I LOVE WHEN KAITE SCARED HER (3:38) AND SHE GO INTO A Passé LOL SHE'S SUCH A TRIPLE THEART FOR THAT LOL <3

saw this live and i love  it

Sutton Foster... such a class act!!

Distracted by the very handsome chorus boy behind Sutton.

one of my favorite musicals! my high school did it and it was so fun!

I'm doing this play at my high school! Sooo excited! the girl whos playing millies is gonna rock it!

I'm doing this musical this year, I'm Ching Ho (of course I got it i'm Asian...). On my off night I'm a dancer. I have to say, it's not the singing or the acting that's the hardest part of this musical, it's the dancing :P.

The name of the song is Thoroughly Modern Milly. It was written for the movie of the same name, starring Julie Andrews.

@dennise7star  When she said that Sutton's eyes got HUGE!

i go to the same school sutton went to
